I re-used the dust shield mount to attach the up-rite to. The tension and tracking arm pivots on it and has a gas strut for tension. I have a 6" serrated 90 duro wheel on the way. Man I'm ready for flat parts!

If I turn on another machine like the milling machine it acts like a rotor generator to make the 2 HP surface grinder run at full power. I ran my whole shop on a 2 HP converter. The largest motor in my shop is a 2 hp grinder and 2 hp air compressor.

My last pass is a ghost pass, or no down Z and pass over it until I stop getting sparks. Some of the larger surface grinders can take a bit more but not much.
