Take a look at Industrial Hobbies Mill. There are a number of people that have converted them. You could also find a larger benchtop CNC mill like a Dyna 2800 and convert it.

Sep 28, 2014· I have a mill that's the same as the Grizzly G0704 (often known as the BF20L) and it's a really nice smaller mill. Good speed control, fairly rigid and overall pretty nice to use. I've done a lot of research on this in the past, and it seems that in the smaller mills the G0704/BF20L is king of the hill.

Apr 19, 2013· I bought the enco mill in 2004 with NO intention of converting it to CNC. I just wanted a drill press LOL. In 2005 I got the CNC bug and bought a conversion kit from Industrial Hobbies. Spent many hours on the phone with Moss who was the owner of IH. Great guy. It turned out we had some similar interests that were not a part of his business.
